The McDowell County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a shooting incident in the Jacktown Rd area in McDowell County. Three subjects are being treated for gunshot wounds and a suspect has been identified. The Sheriff's Office, along with local, state and federal law enforcement are currently searching for Joseph Andrew Hartwell Jr, 50 y/0, white male. This is an ongoing investigation and we will update as more information becomes available.
