* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Barry, Christian, Douglas, Stone and Taney.

* WHEN...Until 430 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1018 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between a half inch and an inch and a half of rain has fallen so far with additional heavy rain expected. - This includes the following low water crossings... Swan Creek at Swan Cave Road, Bull Creek at Center Road, Little Beaver Creek at Old Cheese Plant Road, Bear Creek at Reno Springs Road, Finley River at Johns Ford Road, Woods Fork at Woods Fork Road and Little Beaver Creek at County Road 447. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Branson, Kimberling City, Highlandville, Silver Dollar City, Merriam Woods, Sparta, Reeds Spring, Rockaway Beach, Indian Point, Branson West, Galena, Taneyville, Shell Knob, Bull Creek, Mccord Bend, Spokane, Chestnutridge, Walnut Shade, Christian Center, Selmore, Ponce de Leon, Chadwick, Garrison, Oldfield, Bruner, Keltner, Cape Fair, Elkhead, Dogwood, Lake Taneycomo, Table Rock Lake and Shepherd of the Hills State Park. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
