East Cypress is now open in both directions. Please continue to use care in the area due to a big rig broken down on the side of the road.

A larger tow truck has been dispatched to the scene.
East Cypress Road is currently shut down due to a big rig that got stuck doing a U-turn. Both lanes are completely blocked and it is estimated to be 30-60 minutes before partial opening can occur.
A tow truck is currently at the scene trying to clear the big rig from the road.
