                “FIRE DEPARTMENT HOSTING OPEN HOUSE”
 
The Monmouth Junction Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an open house on Saturday, October 7^th, 2023 in celebration of Fire Prevention Week. The open house will be held from 1 PM to 4 PM at the main fire station at 573 Ridge Road, Monmouth Junction.
 
This year’s theme is “Cooking Safety Starts With You.”
 
We challenge attendees to test their knowledge and skills of fire safety by participating in a scavenger hunt around our fire station. Everyone will be tasked with finding the answers to questions, demonstrating skills, and learning from mistakes made by others while having fun along the way. Participants will be rewarded with various prizes for correct answers during the hunt.
 
We will have fire safety displays to examine, fire trucks to explore, and demonstrations by our Firefighters. We will also have small complimentary snacks and drinks.
