INCIDENT: PC 496D(A): POSSESSION OF STOLEN PROPERTY
LOCATION: Chamisal Street/ Boswell Street, El Mirage
SUSPECT: Salvador Diaz, 34 years-old, resident of El Mirage
SUMMARY: On October 3, 2023, Sgt. M. Rios with the Victor Valley Sheriff's Station conducted a vehicle check on an abandoned vehicle near, Chamisal Street and Boswell Street in El Mirage. During a records check, the vehicle was found to be stolen out of Pomona.
Deputies located footprints near the vehicle and tracked them to a residence in the 1000 block of Plato Street in El Mirage. Deputies contacted 34-year-old Salvador Diaz at the residence, and located evidence tying him to the stolen vehicle.
Salvador Diaz was arrested for possession of stolen property and booked at the High Desert Detention Center. He is currently being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
