Please be advised that beginning at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, October 14, a fireworks display will take place for a private event, lasting approximately 5 minutes.
The walking and bike path (North Riverview Drive) north of the gate at Jekyll Island Club Resort to Villa Ospo will be closed 10 minutes before the fireworks display and stay closed about 30 minutes after the fireworks display.
All owners of domestic pets in the area are reminded that animals might become distressed by fireworks and are encouraged to ensure pets are safe and secure within their property.
