LOCATION: 56000 block of Luna Vista Lane, Yucca Valley
SUSPECT(S): Javier Macias, 56-year old male resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, October 5, 2023, Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station - Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in the 56000 block of Luna Vista Lane in Yucca Valley. During the investigation, Javier Macias was contacted. Macias had an extensive criminal history and is a convicted felon.
Inside Macias' vehicle, approximately $3000 was found in various denominations, and on his property deputies found two handguns, an AR-15 style rifle with a scope, magazines, ammunition and approximately one pound of metamphetamine. Macias was arrested and booked in at the Morongo Basin Jail.
