Traffic Advisory: Rolling Street Closures this Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 for Run for Education 
Hello,
On Sunday, October 8, some residential streets between Sycamore Valley Road and El Capitan Drive will be temporarily closed for the annual San Ramon Valley Education Foundation Run for Education. The rolling closures will occur as runners advance along the 10K route, from 8 a.m. to just before 9 a.m.
Athletes participating in the Run for Education 10K event will be shuttled from the San Ramon City Center finish line to the starting line at Charlotte Wood Middle School. The race gets underway at 8 a.m. Once the runners are clear of the starting zone, the Danville Police Department will begin several short rolling closures along the race route:
- Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and the Osage Station Park north parking lot;
- Everett Drive between both Brookside Drive intersections;
- Brookside Drive between Everett Drive and Paraiso Drive; and
- Paraiso Drive between Brookside Drive and the Iron Horse Trail.
Drivers on these streets will be halted at trail crossings while runners pass. All rolling closures should be short term and all roads reopened by 8:45 a.m. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and expect delays. A map of the 10K route is available at srvef.org/the-run.
