This is an update to the ongoing River St and Ann St Reconstruction and Water Main Replacement project.  

On Tuesday, October 10^th and again on Wednesday, October 11^th beginning at approximately 7:00 am, the portion of River Street between Wilcox Avenue and Parish Avenue will be closed to all thru traffic to allow replacement of sanitary sewer manholes on this stretch of the street.  West bound traffic will be detoured to Wilcox Avenue (north), then to West Broadway and Parish Avenue.  East bound traffic will be detoured to Parish Avenue then to West Broadway and Wilcox Avenue. Residents in this stretch of the street and Scrambling Avenue will have limited, tight in and out access. These residents are advised to find alternative parking out of this work zone. Work is expected to last all day, both days. 
 
Please avoid this area if at all possible.  Temporary signage and barricades will be in place.  Please exercise extreme caution and obey all signs and barriers.

The City will issue periodic project updates or changes via Nixle PSA as needed.
