Activity for October 4, 2023:
- Officer Goble responded to the 200 block of South Jackson Street for a suspicious situation report.
- Officers visited several schools during the day.
- Officer Bean and Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol in the Jackson Crossing Mall.
- Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of West Ganson Street for a weapons complaint. A 34-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, and felon in possession of a firearm. Two 16-year-old males were lodged at JCYC for carrying a concealed weapon.
- Officer Erwin responded to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of North West Avenue. A 45-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, 2nd offense.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of East Ganson Street for a domestic dispute. A 42-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers responded to Woodbridge Street and Rosedale Place for shots fired. Casings were located in the area.
- Officers were dispatched to First Street and West Biddle Street for shots fired. Casings were located on West Biddle Street.
- Officers responded to the 1800 block of East Ganson Street for a disorderly subject. A 30-year-old male was arrested for disorderly conduct, and resisting and obstructing.
