LOCATION: Corwin Road & Ramona Road, Apple Valley, CA
SUSPECT(S): Christopher Lee Gallegos, 36-year-old male of Hesperia, CA
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 7, 2023, at approximately 11:40 a.m., Deputy D. Vallejo and Deputy B. Hobbs conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations at Corwin Road and Ramona Road, in Apple Valley.
A records check of the driver of the vehicle, Christopher Lee Gallegos, revealed his driver’s license was suspended. Deputies conducted an inventory of the vehicle prior to towing it and located a gas mask, three body armor vests and a retractable baton. At the time of contact with Gallegos he was also found in possession of a United States Army uniform which had his name on it and Ranger patches. Investigation revealed Gallegos is not on active duty in the military nor a veteran and was wearing the uniform while attending the Apple Valley Air Show.
Christopoher Lee Gallegos was arrested for the above listed charges and transported to High Desert Detention Center, where he is being held without bail.
