 Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports his deputies responded to a two-vehicle crash, on October 9, 2023, at around 08:21 HRS. This crash occurred at the intersection of Calvin Center Rd. and Calvin Hill St. in Calvin Township, Cass County, Michigan.   
Elizabeth Weber (65 year old of Edwardsburg, MI) was heading east bound on Calvin Hill St. and failed to stop at the stop sign. Larry Carpenter (55 year old of Three Rivers, MI) was traveling south bound on Calvin Center Rd. when his vehicle was struck by Weber's vehicle. Both parties were transported by Ambulance services to Elkhart General Hospital for their injuries that were sustained in the crash. 
 Seatbelts were worn and alcohol is not believed to be a factor in this crash. Assisting to this incident was Penn Township Fire Department, SMCAS Ambulance, and SEPSA Ambulance.
