* WHAT...North winds 50 to 70 mph with gusts up to 80 mph expected.
* WHERE...Western Aleutians.
* WHEN...From 10 AM Wednesday to 10 AM AKDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong North Pacific low lifts northward into the Western Bering Sea through Wednesday. Storm-force winds along with hurricane-force gusts will accompany this storm. The highest winds are expected Wednesday morning through early Thursday morning with southeasterly winds shifting to the southwest through the event. Winds should slowly diminish through the rest of the day Thursday as the storm slowly weakens and moves eastward.
