Please read carefully. Water Tank Maintenance & Hydrant Flushing Tomorrow.

Please be advised that starting tomorrow, October 11^th, we will be undergoing some water tank maintenance as required by the NJDEP. This maintenance should not cause any disturbances, but it may cause some water pressure issues throughout the Borough. If any issues are encountered, we will send out additional notifications as needed. There is nothing you need to do at this time.

Hydrant Flushing in District 6 (East of Crescent) runs 10/11-10/23:

The Water Department will flush hydrants from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of naturally found minerals in water. The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up. The Borough will not be held liable for any clothes that are damaged due to the flushing program. PLEASE NOTE: Even if your street has been completed, you may still experience discoloration in your water. You can find a list of completed streets here.
