Watch Commander's Day Report - October 10, 2023 
1. Pursuit Arrest (1044), March Lane and Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers attempted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle, and the vehicle failed to yield. A pursuit ensued, and the suspect was taken into custody in the area of Highway 99 and Hammer Lane. ARRESTED: Francisco Campero, 25, for felony evading and narcotic-related charges.
2. Weapons Arrest (1504), El Dorado Street and Swain Road, Valley Oak District
Officers were dispatched to the area to conduct a welfare check on a subject who was reportedly sleeping within a vehicle. Officers arrived and located two handguns within the vehicle. The driver was arrested without incident. ARRESTED: Terry Casteel, 30, for weapons charges.
