High Wind Warning - Update 
...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 3 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 4 PM HADT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Southeast winds 50 to 65 mph with gusts up to 80 mph this afternoon evening shifting to west late tonight. Isolated gusts up to 100 mph possible for Adak on Thursday.
* WHERE...Central Aleutians, including Adak and Atka.
* WHEN...From 3 PM this afternoon to 4 PM HADT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...High winds may move loose debris, damage property, and cause power outages. Travel will be difficult.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Southeast winds will peak between 3pm and 7pm today. Winds will then diminish and shift to westerly by late tonight. The strongest winds will be in Adak between 5am
and 11AM HADT on Thursday.

People are urged to secure loose objects that could be blown
around or damaged by the wind. Prepare for the possibility of
widespread power outages. Use caution if you must drive.
