INCIDENT: Assault with Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 5800 Block of Bagley Avenue, Twentynine Palms, CA
SUSPECT(S): Unidentified
VICTIM(S): 39-year-old female, resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 9, 2023, at approximately 4:00 a.m., deputies responded to an assault call in the 5800 block of Bagley Avenue. When deputies arrived, they located the female victim who suffered injuries to her face.
As deputies conducted their investigation, it was learned the victim heard people yelling outside of her residence. The victim approached the individuals and was assaulted by them. The victim was punched and kicked in the face/head and lost consciousness. The suspects fled the scene and were not located.
The suspects were described as a black male juvenile and two black female juveniles. The victim was transported to the High Desert Medical Center for treatment of facial injuries. The case is currently being investigated by Morongo Basin Station detectives.
