Suspect description: Male, white, 25-35 years old, approximately 5’9” tall, 185 lbs., with a tattoo on his outer, left forearm, and wearing a black shirt, black pants, and white shoes.
On 9/18/23, the elderly and disabled victim was walking through the parking lot of 1400 W. Edinger Ave. when he was confronted by the suspect who was panhandling. After the victim declined and walked away, the suspect followed him and forcefully pushed a shopping cart from behind, and took the victim’s belongings before running away. The victim fell and was later transported to the hospital to treat his injuries.
