As of Thursday, 10/12/2023, the O’Hara Township Police Department has finished the investigation into the child luring incident reported on 10/11/2023.  Following comprehensive interviews with the involved juvenile actors by investigators, the Police Department has concluded there was no actual intent to lure a child by the actors. The acts committed were done by two juvenile actors who believed they were “joking around”. This matter is being pursued seriously by the Police Department and appropriate action will be taken by the Department in response to the public panic that was caused.
