Advisory
A message from the North Brunswick Police Department-
Many of you saw the message delivered by Mayor Womack after learning of the Terrorist activity within Israel (copied below). The world watches as the instability continues, which understandably creates concern, uneasiness, and trepidation. It also needs to fuel vigilance.
By now, many of you have also heard of the statements issued by a former leader of that Terror organization, calling for action worldwide. This has been spreading via the media and social media today. We want to let our residents and subscribers know that there are no credible or specific threats known regarding this statement. In response however, we want to assure all of you that we have been in contact and working with all of our Law Enforcement partners to monitor any such activity. We have also taken additional measures to stand ready, including additional staffing that has been added. We will be visible, and continue to protect & serve in any situation. Thank you, be safe, and be vigilant.
Mayor Womack's statement:
The residents of North Brunswick join people around the world in condemning terrorist attacks on Israel. Our prayers and thoughts are for the safety of everyone in Israel and the swift resumption of peace and stability. There have been no threats or suspicious activities in our area, but our police are on heightened vigilance tonight and will be in the days ahead. If you observe suspicious activity, call 911 immediately.
