Toy and Book Drive 
The Fairview Police Department is partnering with Toys for Texans to collect new toys, books and board games for children in need.
Donations may be dropped off through Nov. 4 at Fairview Town Hall or at either Fairview fire station. Town Hall is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
The nonprofit organization Toys for Texans was started in 2021 by Allen high school students and has already helped thousands of children receive gifts for the holidays.
