Waldwick Event Flyers:

Important Dates & Reminders:

Breast Cancer Awareness Month:

At the September 26th Council Meeting, Mayor Giordano announced that the Council will be wearing pink shirts at the October Council Meetings in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You will also notice Borough staff wearing pink shirts on Fridays throughout the month of October.

At the October 10th Council Meeting, Mayor Giordano read a proclamation for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and National Mammography Day.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an international health campaign lasting the month of October that is intended to increase global awareness of breast cancer, encourage regular screenings and raise money to help support programming. The Borough encourages residents to join in activities that will increase awareness of what Americans can do to prevent and control breast cancer and pay tribute to those who have lost their lives to this disease.

Hydrant Flushing:
District 6 East of Crescent runs October 11 - October 23. The Water Department will flush hydrants from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday. Residents may experience some discoloration in their water, which is a result of the settling of naturally found minerals in water. The remedy is to let the water run for a short time to clear up. The Borough will not be held liable for any clothes that are damaged due to the flushing program. PLEASE NOTE: Even if your street has been completed, you may still experience discoloration in your water. If the problem persists, please call 201-652-5300 ext. 240.

A list of completed streets can be found here.
