Dear Residents of Haledon:

On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson and Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, the Haledon Police Department wishes to address recent events concerning the ongoing crisis and tensions in the Middle East. Your Haledon Police Department understands the concerns that such global events can bring to our community.

We want to assure you that the Haledon Police Department is in constant communication with county, state, and federal authorities, including the New Jersey State Police Regional Operations Intelligence Center. The situation is closely being monitored and we want to emphasize that, based on current intelligence, there is no credible threat to our region or community.

Our dedicated officers are fully aware of the situation and remain vigilant in ensuring the safety and security of our residents. Additionally, we urge you to report any suspicious activity or behavior that you may observe to the Haledon Police Department. Your vigilance and participation are crucial in maintaining a safe and secure community.
