* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. Highest snow accumulations expected west of Sleetmute and highest ice accumulations expected along the Kuskokwim Mountains east of Crooked Creek and south of Stony River.
* WHERE...Lower Kuskokwim Valley.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 2 PM AKDT Monday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Below-freezing surface temperatures in combination with warm air moving overhead will lead to freezing rain with minor ice accumulations for locations in the Lower and Middle Kuskokwim Valley. Higher (80% to 90%) chances for freezing rain are for areas East of Sleetmute and North of Koliganek, between the Kuskokwim Mountains and Western Alaska Range. Lower (30% to 40%) chances for freezing rain are for areas West of Sleetmute with decreasing chances as you move further West. Aniak has moderate to high (75% to 90%) chances for precipitation to stay all snow.
