BOROUGH OF FAIR LAWN
BOIL WATER ADVISORY HAS BEEN LIFTED

This is a message from Fair Lawn Emergency Management. The precautionary boil water advisory for all of Fair Lawn has been lifted. All repairs have been completed and all water quality testing shows the water quality to be safe.

It is no longer necessary to boil water before using it. The Borough strongly encourages the following actions to be taken at this time:

• Run your water faucets for 3 to 5 minutes to flush your service connections and interior plumbing from the service main.
• Empty and clean your automatic ice makers and water chillers.
• Service connections with a water softener or water cartridge filter should be run through a regeneration cycle or other procedures recommended by the manufacturer.
