The Janesville Police Department and Fire Department are actively conducting a water rescue originating from the area of the West Milwaukee Street Bridge. Emergency responders are on scene at this time and are encouraging the public to avoid the area. 
 
Expect traffic delays in the area as the West Milwaukee Street Bridge is temporarily closed. More details will be released as they become available.
