Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult.
Deputies from Century Sheriff’s Station responded to East 96th Place and South Alameda Street in the unincorporated area of Los Angeles regarding a gunshot victim call.
The incident occurred on Sunday , October 15, 2023 at approximately 8:16PM.
When deputies arrived they found the victim, a Hispanic male, 35-40 years of age, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the upper torso. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was subsequently pronounced dead.
There is no suspect or suspect vehicle information.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently there is no additional information.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and pronounced deceased.
