October 13, 2023:

• Officer Vernier was dispatched to the 300 block of Van Buren Street for a domestic dispute. A 21-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officer Goble responded to the 1000 block of Greenwood Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 36-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Tripp attempted to stop a stolen vehicle near West Morrell Street and South Jackson Street, but the vehicle fled. The vehicle was later located unoccupied at Randolph Street and Chittock Avenue. The vehicle was turned over to JSO to be processed for evidence.
• Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop in the area of Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and East Washington Avenue. The 29-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Jones was dispatched to the 100 block of North Forbes Street for a domestic dispute. A 31-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Jones conducted a traffic stop at Union Street and South West Avenue. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon; possession of an unregistered firearm; and driving with a suspended license.
• Officer Brooks responded to the 200 block of West Biddle Street for a personal welfare check. A 20-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.

• Officers were dispatched to Rosedale Place and Woodbridge Street for shots fired. Charges will be sought on a 19-year-old male for carrying a concealed weapon; possession of a stolen firearm; and reckless discharge.
• Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 800 block of Foote Street. Charges will be sought on a 40-year-old male for disorderly conduct, and 5^th degree arson.
• Officer Justice conducted a traffic stop near South Cooper Street and West Michigan Avenue. The 38-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officers conducted several liquor inspections downtown.

• Officer Tripp made contact with subjects in the 1500 block of East Michigan Avenue. Charges will be sought on a 37-year-old male and a 34-year-old female for possession of narcotics.
• Officers responded to the 200 block of West Monroe Street for a personal welfare check. A 55-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
