Missing Person Awot Tara: At Risk
The Oakland Police Department is requesting assistance from our community and media partners in locating Missing Person, Awot Tara.
He was last seen on October 15, 2023, in the 300 block of 45th Street, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
Tara is described as a 27-year-old, Black (Eritrean) male. He stands 5’7” and weighs 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. The family reports Tara is in good physical condition and has mental health challenges.
