Today between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM the Yorktown Water Department will be flushing hydrants on the following streets: Baldwin Road, Dogwood Street, Fieldstone Court, Giordano Drive, Blossom Court, Allan Avenue, White Birch Drive, Etna Place, Midland Drive, Breton Court, Defoe Court and Levoie Court. Avoid doing laundry during this time due to possible brown water. If you notice water discoloration, it can be cleared by running cold water from the faucet for several minutes.
