Patches of fog, locally dense in some spots, have been observed this morning across portions of northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. Visibility will range from several miles to less than a mile over short distances wherever fog is present before the fog dissipates later this morning. If traveling this morning, be alert for rapid changes in visibility and use caution. If you encounter dense fog, use your low-beam headlights and slow down.
