The Redwood City Police Department conducted an extensive investigation to identify and apprehend multiple suspects involved in robberies, assaults and other crimes in Downtown Redwood City over the past few weeks.
Over the weekend, RCPD Officers arrested three juveniles and one young adult. All told, these four suspects were involved in seven separate violent crimes, including a robbery that had occurred within a few hours of one of the suspects being contacted and arrested.
The juveniles were booked into the San Mateo County Youth Services Facility, the adult at the San Mateo County Jail.
These arrests are part of a concerted effort by our department to do everything we can to make the Downtown area and the rest of the city as safe as possible.
