Homicide Investigators Will Have Media Availability For Womans Death In East Harris County. 
Houston, TX – October 17, 2023 – Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Division will host a press conference and media availability for the public’s help for information on the death of Stephanie Leighane Carrizal.
On Saturday, June 10, 2023, at approximately 6:45 a.m., a family fishing at Sheldon Reservoir, located at 13571 Garrett Road in east Harris County, reported a body floating in the reservoir.
Deputies responded to the scene and confirmed it was a deceased person. Investigators with the HCSO Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit responded to the scene and continued the investigation.
Investigators determined that Stephanie had suffered trauma that was not consistent with drowning.
