Lt. Aaron Vallini with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 38-year-old Danny Ray Pinkerton of Marion with felonious Assault by Strangulation and Assault on a Female. Pinkerton was issued a $15,000 secured bond.
On September 22nd, Lt. Vallini responded to a report of a physical domestic. The victim informed deputies that Pinkerton assaulted and choked her after a verbal altercation that morning. The short investigation led to Pinkerton’s arrest.
