Narrative:
The Fillmore Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a prowling suspect. 
 
On October 11, 2023, at approximately 11:00 PM and on July 20, 2023, at approximately 12:16 AM, the Fillmore Police Department received reports of a prowler in the 900 block of Wileman Street in the city of Fillmore.  Both incidents were captured on RING cameras.  Photographs of the suspect are attached.   
 
The suspect is identified as a Hispanic male, approximately 5”8” in height, approximately 45-55 years of age, with short gray facial hair and dark brown hair.
 
Anyone with information pertaining to this crime or any other is urged to contact the detectives listed below.  The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and Fillmore Police Department are committed to increasing and strengthening community partnerships and utilizing technologies and evidence-based practices to enhance collaborative efforts at reducing crime and improving public safety of all residents by continued community partnerships. The Fillmore Police Department and Ventura County Sheriff’s Office encourage witnesses to notify the Sheriff’s Communication Center at 805-654-9511 or 911 of any suspected illegal activity they witness so deputies can investigate these matters as soon as they happen.  The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank members of the public for their on-going support and due diligence in providing information to assist our agency in solving crimes.
