INCIDENT: PC 626.9: POSSESSION OF A FIREARM ON SCHOOL GROUNDS
LOCATION: Adelanto High School, 15620 Joshua Road, Adelanto
SUSPECT: 14-year-old Male
SUMMARY: On Monday, October 16, 2023, Deputy M. Lewis received information that a 14-year-old male student at Adelanto High School was in possession of a firearm.
Deputies contacted the juvenile in his classroom, and found an unloaded, semi-automatic pistol in the waistband of his pants. The juvenile was arrested for being in possession of a firearm on school grounds and booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center.
