Hydrant flushing started on October 2 and will run through November 6th.
The flushing has begun west of the Garden State Parkway and will continue east of the Garden State Parkway.
During this period, a temporary discoloration and loss of water pressure may be noticed. Do not be alarmed. The water should clear up by allowing your tap to run for 5 to 10 minutes.
