I have been made aware that many Township residents have yet to receive their 4th quarter tax bill and the delay is very concerning.

After consulting with our tax collector, all tax bills were hand delivered to the Teaneck Post Office on Friday, September 22nd, and a picture taken confirming drop off. 

I have personally been in contact with the Teaneck Post Master voicing my displeasure, and formally requested he initiate an internal investigation to locate our missing mail.

The post master recently informed me that he has been in contact with three different plant managers to locate our tax bills. Staff at the Teaneck Post Office confirmed our tax bills were indeed dropped off on September 22nd, and all trays subsequently transferred to the South Hackensack sorting facility that night.

The USPS is continuing their investigation and will update me when new information is received.

In the interim, as property taxes are due on November 1st, residents can visit https://wipp.edmundsassoc.com/Wipp/?wippid=0260 to print out a copy of your 4th quarter tax bill. Residents can also stop by the Township's tax department to secure a copy at no cost.

I apologize for the inconvenience and we will continue to press the USPS for answers on our missing property tax bills.
