INCIDENT: PC 211- Robbery
LOCATION: 71727 Twentynine Palms Highway, Twentynine Palms, CA
SUSPECT(S): Two female juvenile residents of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM(S): Male resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 14, 2023, at approximately 8:20 p.m., deputies from the Morongo Basin Sheriff’s Station responded to a robbery call at the Stater Bros Market located at 71727 Twentynine Palms Highway, in Twentynine Palms. Prior to the deputies' arrival, the suspects fled the business. During the investigation, it was determined two female juveniles entered Stater Bros and collected a large amount of alcohol from the liquor department. The juveniles attempted to leave the store without paying, and when confronted by the store clerk, the juveniles threatened to assault the clerk with glass bottles of alcohol. Further investigation revealed the suspects to be known residents of Twentynine Palms.
On October 16, 2023, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a deputy on patrol observed one of the juveniles on Adobe Road in Twentynine Palms, and detained her. The other involved juvenile was subsequently detained at her residence. Both juveniles were arrested for violation of Penal Code 211- Second Degree Robbery and were booked at the Central Juvenile Hall.
