LOCATION: 5900 block of Valley View Street, Joshua Tree
SUSPECT(S): Hector Hernandez, 55-year-old male resident of Joshua Tree
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On Thursday, October 19, 2023, Morongo Basin's Multiple Enforcement Team (MET) served a search warrant in the 5900 block of Valley View Street in Joshua Tree. During the investigation, Hector Hernandez was contacted. Hernandez had an extensive criminal history for possession of narcotics and is a convicted felon.
During the service of the search warrant, currency in various denominations was located along with methamphetamine, fentanyl, drug paraphernalia and items indicative of narcotics sales. Hernandez was arrested and booked in at the Morongo Basin Jail.
