INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 14600 block of 7th Street, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Robert Garcia, 43-year-old male transient
VICTIM(S): 63-year-old female resident of Apple Valley
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, October 17, 2023, at about 12:10 PM, the suspect, later identified as Rober Garcia, entered the business armed with a pair of scissors. Garcia walked to the victim, stabbed her approximately eight times and then kneed her in the face.
Garcia fled the location before deputies arrived but was quickly located nearby and detained by deputies. The victim and witnesses verified Garcia as the man that assaulted the female.
Garcia was transported and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for attempted murder, assault with force, and aggravated battery with serious bodily injury.
