Domestic Violence/Armed Subject 
On 10/21/23 at 04:34 A.M. officers were dispatched to the report of a 911 emergency call in the 900 block of Riverside Dr. Officers arrived and could hear a verbal disturbance inside the residence. Contact was made with several persons inside the house. It was disclosed to officers that Derrick Stevenson was intoxicated and had armed himself with 2 firearms. Stevenson also discharged a firearm inside of the home during the disturbance.
Officers escorted the victims away from the home and Stevenson was detained without issue. No one was injured during the disturbance. During a search of the home 2 firearms were sized, as well as a spent casing and bullet. The case remains under investigation.
Stevenson is currently being held at the Rock County Jail awaiting an initial appearance.
