INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 150200 block of Turquoise Rd, Big River, CA 92242
SUSPECT(S): Clint Canady, 32-years-old, Resident of Big River
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Saturday, October 22, 2023, at approximately 9:25 a.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to a call for service reference a victim who had been assaulted and suffered serious life-threatening injuries requiring immediate medical attention. During the investigation, Clint Canady was identified as the suspect.
Deputies were able to quickly locate Canady and took him into custody without incident. Canady was subsequently arrested for PC 664/187 - Attempted Murder, and booked at the Needles jail. Canady remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $1,000,000.00, pending a court hearing.
