Activity for October 23, 2023:
- Officer Bean and Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Cooper Street for a disorderly subject. The 17-year-old male was released to his parents. Charges will be sought on the male for malicious destruction of property, and assault.
- Officers responded to the 200 block of Blair Park Drive for the same subject being intoxicated and disorderly. JCYC refused to lodge the 17-year-old male for resisting and obstructing; charges will be sought at a later time.
- Officer Mills investigated a fraud that occurred in the 1700 block of Plymouth Street.
- Officer Tripp conducted a traffic stop near Cooper Street and Frost Street. The 25-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
- Officer Jones met with a State Trooper for a warrant pick-up. A 20-year-old male was lodged at JSO on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Brooks was dispatched to the 1000 block of First Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
