In order to make Halloween 2023 in our Tree Streets section safer, the Village of Briarcliff Manor Police will be doing things a bit differently this year. 

The Village will be closing roads for all entering the Candy Zone. What you need to know;

Ash Rd @ Pleasantville Rd will be closed. 

There will be "soft closures" at

Oak Rd @ Larch Rd Maple Rd @ Larch Rd Simpson Rd @ Larch Rd

Soft closures - only residents, deliveries, and guests will be able to enter the Candy Zone...guests are requested to get to their destination before 6pm and leave after 9pm. 

Access to the tree streets will be from Larch Rd only. There will be limited parking on Larch Rd. Participants can park at Todd School as they have in the past. There will be officers posted at Ingham Rd and Pleasantville Rd to assist pedestrian traffic. There will be officers posted at each of the closures and as well as in the interior of the Candy Zone. 

By considerably limiting the vehicular traffic in the interior of the tree streets, we think it will make it a safer night for all. Parents - Please advise your children that vehicular traffic will only be limited...

Please remember to respect people's private property and remind your kids to clean up after themselves.  The Village does not do any official cleanup and the neighborhood is often left with candy wrappers, shaving cream cans and other refuse every year.
