Update: Natural Gas Leak 1003 North Poplar Street. Piedmont Natural Gas is on Scene 
The Town of Aberdeen is informing residents that the natural gas leak near the area of 1003 North Poplar Street has now been shut off. Piedmont Natural Gas is still on scene making repairs and will be there into the next morning. The 1000 block of North Poplar Street is still closed, but all residents are allowed to return home. Please continue to avoid this area until further notice.
