Activity for October 24, 2023:
- Officer Goings responded to the 1100 block of Clinton Road for a fraud report. The 20-year-old male suspect committed another fraud in Grass Lake, and was arrested by JSO; he was arrested for two counts of uttering and publishing.
- Officer Bean made contact with a subject in the 200 block of East Washington Avenue. A 50-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers were dispatched to Steward Avenue and West Trail Street for a subject struck by a train. The subject was transported to the hospital.
- Officers responded to the 1700 block of Woodbridge Street for a disorderly subject. A 60-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
- Officer Vernier was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Van Buren Street. A 21-year-old male was arrested for conditional bond violation.
- Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
- Officer Brooks responded to the 100 block of East Prospect Street for a domestic dispute. A 46-year-old female was arrested for domestic assault.
- Sergeant Kruso was dispatched to the 200 block of Rosedale Place for a found firearm.
- Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 1400 block of Pringle Avenue. A 43-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, and an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers and Detectives are actively investigating a homicide that occurred in the 300 block of Randolph Street. A 31-year-old male was arrested for open murder.
