INCIDENT: P.C. 422- Criminal Threats, P.C. 245(A)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon (not a firearm) and, P.C. 459-Burglary
LOCATION: 1000 block of Lillyhill Drive, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Richard Anderson, 25-Years-Old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, October 25, 2023 at approximately 5:00 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police department responded to a call for service reference a disturbance. When deputies arrived on scene, they discovered the suspect, Richard Anderson, broke into the victim's residence, threatened the victim with a weapon, and made several verbal criminal threats.
Anderson was consequently arrested for P.C. 422 - Criminal Threats, P.C. 245(A)(1)-Assault with a Deadly Weapon (not a firearm) and P.C. 459- Burglary. Anderson was transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
