INCIDENT: CRITICAL MISSING JUVENILE
LOCATION: Riverside Prep High School, Oro Grande
SUSPECT: Luis Angel Aguilar, approximately 25 years-old
MISSING PERSON: Evelyn V. Castaneda, 15-years-old, Resident of Helendale
SUMMARY:
On Friday, October 27, 2023, at about 7:00am, Evelyn V. Castaneda arrived at school (Riverside Prep High School in Oro Grande) on a school bus with her brother. Upon exiting the school bus, Castaneda walked off the school's campus and was seen being picked up by her adult male boyfriend, Luis Angel Aguilar, who is approximately 25 years old.
Aguilar was driving a 2003, gray, four door Oldsmobile Alero displaying CA Lic# 6BEX515. Both Castaneda and Aguilar could not be located, and neither are answering cell phones.
Castaneda was last seen wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, red Vans shoes, and a black backpack with butterflies.
Investigators are releasing Castaneda's photo and are asking anyone who may have information on their whereabouts, or anyone who may encounter Luis Angel Aguilar or Evelyn Castaneda, to please call 911.
