LOCATION: 2321 Needles Highway, Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): Janice Gunther, 38-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA.
VICTIM(S): City of Needles
SUMMARY: On Thursday, October 26, 2023, at approximately 9:00 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station/ Needles Police Department, conducted a traffic stop on a Ford F250 at 2321 Needles Highway.
During the course of the investigation, deputies identified the driver as Janice Gunther. Gunther was found to be in possession of a stolen vehicle and loaded firearm. Gunther was subsequently arrested for a violation of PC-496(d), Possession of Stolen Property and PC-29800(a)(1), Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Gunther remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
